Manchester United legendary defender, Rio Ferdinand has slammed Serge Aurier for costing his team a penalty in the draw against Juventus.

Tottenham had to come from two goals behind to secure a draw at the Allianz Stadium, with Eriksen and Kane scoring the goals.

With the scoreline at 2-1 Aurier brought down Douglas Costa in the box, however, Higuain missed the resulting spot-kick. And Ferdinand has slammed his conduct.

“The pace is unbelievable from Costa,” Ferdinand told BTSport.

“But as a defender, I’ve never really rated Aurier to be honest with you.

“He’s very rash in situations like that. He panics and lets his team down far too often.”
